MASTERS Swimming

Haslemere Masters is a relatively recent addition to Haslemere Swimming Club. Formed in the early 90’s, it encompasses a range of abilities from ex-competitors to swimmers who want to keep fit but don’t want to always swim on their own. We accept all ages from 19 to 80 years of age.

Our Masters resident coach, Scott Lucas, sets the club schedules which are adapted to suit the swimmers’ abilities and fitness. We swim in two lanes, one for the faster and more competent swimmers and the other for those enjoying the workout. Increasing interest in triathlons, which also includes our coach, has encouraged more swimmers to join our growing club.

The training sessions are very sociable especially when resting between swimming sets and we organise an ‘evening meal out’ in the Autumn.

We meet three times a week for one hourly sessions, Sundays from to , Tuesdays and Fridays from .

Masters Medley and Sprint Meet

Thank you all so much for coming along to the inaugural HSC Masters Medley and Sprint meet, I hope you all enjoyed yourselves. It was great to see so many smiling faces as that makes the effort worthwhile, and even better to see some excellent swims, with several PBs particularly in the early part of the session.
